“The Women Who Sew”
This project began after I watched the documentary The True Cost, which exposes the hidden human cost behind fast fashion.
Inspired by this reality, I created a large-scale painting, over three meters long, portraying women sewing — a tribute to the invisible labor that sustains the global fashion industry.
But the painting is only the beginning.
The vision of The Women Who Sew is to transform my artwork into a textile collection produced by local seamstresses who are paid fairly for their work, creating an ethical alternative to fast fashion.
The original painting is available for $100,000.
This piece is the founding artwork of the project.
Acquiring it does not only mean collecting a work of art — it also helps launch a creative and social initiative that merges art, ethical production, and real opportunities for women artisans.

“Las Mujeres que Cosen”
Este proyecto nació después de ver el documental The True Cost, que revela el costo humano oculto detrás de la moda rápida.
A partir de esa reflexión creé una pintura de gran formato, de más de tres metros, que representa a mujeres cosiendo: un homenaje al trabajo invisible que sostiene la industria textil global.
Pero la pintura es solo el comienzo.
La visión de Las Mujeres que Cosen es transformar mis obras en una colección de productos textiles confeccionados por costureras locales que reciban un pago justo por su trabajo, ofreciendo una alternativa ética a la moda rápida.
