Under the Moon
“Under the Moon” is the central piece of my new collection, a work that marks a moment of deep transformation in both my artistic and personal journey. It will be presented on April 18, 2026, at the Indoor Club, as an open portal into a universe where sensitivity, community, and evolution intertwine.
In this painting, we are all fish. We share the same space, floating beneath a moon that silently watches us—witness to our emotions, our inner struggles, and our encounters with one another. Each figure swims in harmony with the others, reminding us that coexistence is a delicate act: moving forward without hurting, existing together without invading, learning to flow as one even when each of us carries our own rhythm and story. It is a metaphor for life, for society, for the human connections that both sustain and challenge us.
The mermaid’s tail, organically present within the composition, is my signature. It is my presence within the painting, my identity transformed into symbol. Its leopard-like texture represents my new skin—a transformation that has not been immediate, but built over the years through constant practice, doubt, breakthroughs, and moments of clarity. Today, I feel with certainty how my technique and style have evolved into something more authentic, more free, and more truly mine. This work does not just reflect that—it affirms it.
The glow-in-the-dark element holds a deeply intimate meaning. It evokes those small lights—like fireflies—that appeared during the most difficult moments of my life, when it was hard to believe in myself and in my art. Those lights were not overwhelming, they did not illuminate everything, but they were enough to remind me that hope still existed. That something within me was still alive, still creating, still insisting. This transforms the piece into a dual experience: by day it is color, texture, and movement; by night, it becomes memory, inner light, and resilience.
Even through moments of doubt, I have always felt that art is my most valuable tool. It is my language, my refuge, and my power. Creating is not just what I do—it is who I am. This painting is born from that deep desire to keep creating until my very last day, to continue exploring, and to keep connecting.
“Under the Moon” is not just a painting. It is a statement. A reminder that even in darkness, there is always light—and that together, we can learn to swim in the same ocean with more awareness, more empathy, and more love.
