This piece is one of the central works in my collection Under the Moon, to be presented on April 18. And yet, even within a collection born from deep emotion and transformation, this painting holds a place of its own—intimate, powerful, and truly irreplaceable.
There are artworks that can be revisited, reinterpreted, or recreated in new ways. But this one… this one feels humanly impossible to repeat. It came through me in a way that felt guided, almost as if it already existed somewhere beyond me and simply chose me to bring it into form. Because of that, it carries an essence that cannot be duplicated. It is, in every sense, a one-of-a-kind piece.
At the center of the composition, the mermaid stands as a luminous being—both grounded and ethereal. She holds the moon in her hands, yet the sun also radiates within the same space. This duality is intentional and deeply symbolic. She is not choosing between light sources; she embodies both. The moon represents intuition, inner wisdom, emotional depth—the quiet light that guides us through darkness. The sun represents vitality, clarity, life force—the visible energy that fuels our existence. By holding both, she becomes a guardian of balance, a reminder that true power comes from embracing all parts of ourselves.
She does not reach for the light—she carries it.
There is a quiet strength in her presence. She is not loud, yet she is undeniable. Her energy feels ancient, as if she has always existed in the depths of the ocean and within the unseen layers of the universe. The details surrounding her—textures, colors, and organic patterns—create a sense of movement between worlds: water and sky, day and night, seen and unseen.
For me, releasing this painting is not just about offering a work of art. It feels like offering a part of my soul. There is a vulnerability in letting it go, because of how deeply connected I feel to it. It represents not only my growth as an artist, but also a moment of alignment—when intuition, technique, emotion, and purpose all came together without resistance.
Whoever becomes the guardian of this piece will not simply own a painting—they will hold a story, an energy, and a fragment of something sacred. My hope is that it is received with the same love with which it was created. That it is protected, valued, and lived with. That over time, it continues to reveal new meanings, new emotions, and new layers of light.
Because this is not just a mermaid.
She is a keeper of light.
A balance of sun and moon.
A reflection of the power we all carry within.
And above all, she is a reminder that some things are not meant to be repeated—only felt, honored, and cherished.
